     Alexander Charles Robert Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 9th Marquess of Londonderry was born on 7 September 1937.1 He was the son of Edward Charles Robert Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 8th Marquess of Londonderry and Romaine Combe.1 He married, firstly, Nicolette Elaine Katherine Harrison, daughter of Michael Harrison and Maria Madeleine Benita von Koskull, on 16 May 1958.1 He and Nicolette Elaine Katherine Harrison were divorced in 1971.1 He married, secondly, Doreen Patricia Wells on 10 March 1972.1 He and Doreen Patricia Wells were divorced in 1989.1 He died on 20 June 2012 at age 74.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Earl Vane [U.K., 1823] on 17 October 1955.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Viscount Seaham of Seaham, co. Durham [U.K., 1823] on 17 October 1955.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Stewart of Stewart's Court and Ballylawn, co. Donegal [U.K., 1814] on 17 October 1955.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Earl of Londonderry [I., 1796] on 17 October 1955.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Marquess of Londonderry [I., 1816] on 17 October 1955.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Viscount Castlereagh [I., 1795] on 17 October 1955.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baron Londonderry [I., 1789] on 17 October 1955.1

     Major Michael William Howard was born on 12 March 1917.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Ronald Howard and Ruth Evelyn Coryton.2 He married Gillian Hester Shelley, daughter of Sir John Frederick Shelley, 10th Bt. and Nora Coleridge Boles, on 5 May 1949.2 He died in 1994.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Devonshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) (and bar).1

     Major Roger Alexander Howard was born on 18 August 1919.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Ronald Howard and Ruth Evelyn Coryton.2 He married Jean Alington, daughter of Vice-Admiral Argentine Hugh Alington, on 1 September 1944.1 He died on 29 October 1998 at age 79.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.1 He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).1

     George Howard was born on 20 June 1826.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright.2 He married, firstly, Marion Southam, daughter of Edward Southam, on 18 May 1852.1 He married, secondly, Jean Gilbert, daughter of James Lyon Gilbert, on 31 January 1903.1 He died on 7 April 1917 at age 90.
     He was a practising barrister.1 He was Librarian of the House of Commons.1

     Captain John Henry Howard was born on 30 November 1827.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright.2 He married Eliza Salt, daughter of Reverend Joseph Salt, on 25 June 1874.1 He died on 31 July 1925 at age 97.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1
