     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Army Medical Corps.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.1 He was decorated with the award of the Order of St. Sava of Serbia.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1921.1

     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1 He was educated at London University, London, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the King's African Rifles.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1969.1 He lived in 1976 at 8 Moorhouse Close, Upton-by-Chester, Cheshire, England.1
