     Lt.-Col. Edward Douglas Garnett was the son of Captain Douglas Gordon Knowles Garnett.1 He married Eileen Mary Brooke, daughter of Major Eardley Steuart Brooke and Violet Mary Magdalene Sproat.1 He died on 21 April 1964.1
     Lt.-Col. Edward Douglas Garnett was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1

     Stephen Russell Blois was born on 6 October 1870.1 He was the son of Sir John Ralph Blois, 8th Bt. and Eliza Ellen Chapman.1 He married, firstly, Emile Freeman Schultz, daughter of Martin Schultz, on 17 September 1919.1 He married, secondly, Helen Hill-Trevor Irwin, daughter of Hill-Trevor Irwin, on 15 September 1930.1 He died on 13 February 1951 at age 80.1
     Stephen Russell Blois gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 4th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment.1
