     He was a noted New Zealand sportsman and player for the New Zealand 'All Blacks.1' Albert Laing also went by the nick-name of Sikkie.

     Louisa Florence Buffett was born on 5 March 1867 at Norfolk Island.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Buffett and Louisa Quintal.1 She married Ernest Ford Christian, son of Isaac Christian and Miriam Young, on 12 December 1892 at Wallerawang, New Zealand.1 She died on 14 September 1910 at age 43 at Norfolk Island.1
     From 12 December 1892, her married name became Christian.1

     Ernest Ford Christian was born on 10 April 1860 at Norfolk Island.1 He was the son of Isaac Christian and Miriam Young.1 He married Louisa Florence Buffett, daughter of Thomas Buffett and Louisa Quintal, on 12 December 1892 at Wallerawang, New Zealand.1 He died on 28 August 1901 at age 41 at Ringdove Bay, Epi, New Hebrides, in a diving accident.1
