     Sir David fitz Walter, 2nd of Cadzow was the son of Sir Walter fitz Gilbert, 1st of Cadzow and Mary Gordon.1 He married Margaret Leslie, daughter of Alexander Leslie, 7th Earl of Ross. He died in 1373.2
     Sir David fitz Walter, 2nd of Cadzow fought in the Battle of Halidon Hill in 1333.1 He fought in the Battle of Durham in 1346, where he was captured by the English.1 In 1361 he was the benefactor of the diocese of Glasgow.1 In 1371 he was one of the Scottish nobles consenting to the crowning of King Robert II.1

     Sir Walter fitz Gilbert, 1st of Cadzow was the son of Sir Gilbert de Hamilton and Isabelle Randolph. He married, secondly, Mary Gordon, daughter of Sir Adam Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Helen (?).3
     On 3 March 1314/15 he was granted Dalserf, and afterwards, Cadzow.3 On 28 July 1323 he was granted Kinneil.3
