     Elizabeth Sweet-Escott was the daughter of Prebendary Thomas Sweet-Escott.1 She married Hon. Edward Charles Hugh Herbert, son of Henry George Herbert, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon and Elizabeth Kitty Acland, in June 1833.1 She died on 10 July 1840.1
     From June 1833, her married name became Herbert.1

     Philip Pusey was born on 25 June 1799.1 He was the son of Hon. Philip Pusey and Lucy Sherard.1 He married Lady Emily Herbert, daughter of Henry George Herbert, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon and Elizabeth Kitty Acland, in 1822. He died on 9 July 1855 at age 56, after s atroke.1
     Philip Pusey held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.). He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2
