     Sir William Booth was born in 1540.2 He was the son of George Bothe and Elizabeth Trafford.3,4 He married Elizabeth Warburton, daughter of Sir John Warburton and Mary Brereton, in 1565.5,2 He died on 28 November 1579.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1558.5 He lived at Dunham Massey, Chester, EnglandG.1 He had four other sons and two other daughters (both unmarried).5

     From 18 February 1577/78, her married name became Booth.1
