     Sir William Booth was born in 1540.4 He was the son of George Bothe and Elizabeth Trafford.2,3 He married Elizabeth Warburton, daughter of Sir John Warburton and Mary Brereton, in 1565.5,4 He died on 28 November 1579.1
     Sir William Booth was invested as a Knight in 1558.5 He lived at Dunham Massey, Chester, England.1 He had four other sons and two other daughters (both unmarried).5

     Elizabeth Warburton was the daughter of Sir John Warburton and Mary Brereton.1 She married Sir William Booth, son of George Bothe and Elizabeth Trafford, in 1565.2,3 She died in 1628.3
     From 1565, her married name became Booth.2

     Jane Carrington was baptised on 10 December 1562 at Bowden, Cheshire, England.1 She was the daughter of John Carrington and Ellen Holford.1 She married Sir George Booth, 1st Bt., son of Sir William Booth and Elizabeth Warburton, on 18 February 1577/78.1 She died, without issue.1
     From 18 February 1577/78, her married name became Booth.1

     Katharine Anderson was the daughter of Sir Edmund Anderson and Magdalen Smith.1 She married Sir George Booth, 1st Bt., son of Sir William Booth and Elizabeth Warburton, circa 1590.1 She died circa February 1638/39.1 She was buried on 26 February 1638/39 at Bowden, Cheshire, England.1
     Katharine Anderson was also known as Elizabeth Anderson.2 From circa 1590, her married name became Booth.1
