     He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Battalion, 1st Garrison Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.1 He lived at Northwick Grange, Worcestershire, EnglandG.1

Oscar Leslie Boord was born on 18 November 1898.1 He was the son of Oscar Philip Boord and Amy Louisa Harris.1 He married Julia Mary Huth, daughter of Major Geoffrey Edward Huth and Gladys Emily Hargreaves Brown, on 20 September 1939 at Cathedral City, Riverside County, California, U.S.A.G.2 He died on 12 November 1967 at age 68.1
     Lt.-Col. Oscar Leslie Boord usually went by his middle name of Leslie.1 He lived in 1901 at Bideford, Devon, EnglandG.3,2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1917 in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 10th Royal Hussars.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
