     Commander George William Boothby was born on 25 August 1819.1 He was the son of Reverend Brooke Boothby and Louisa Henrietta Venables.1 He married, firstly, Harriet Glass, daughter of Edward Binney Glass, on 3 September 1850.1 He died on 28 March 1868 at age 48.1
     Commander George William Boothby gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Harriet Glass was the daughter of Edward Binney Glass.1 She married Commander George William Boothby, son of Reverend Brooke Boothby and Louisa Henrietta Venables, on 3 September 1850.1 She married, secondly, Venerable Angus Gunn on 3 January 1871.1 She died on 14 November 1911.1
     From 3 September 1850, her married name became Boothby.1 From 3 January 1871, her married name became Gunn.1
