     Sir Walter Borrowes, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1620.1 He was the son of Sir Erasmus Borrowes, 1st Bt. and Sarah Weldon.1 He married, firstly, Eleanor Fitzgerald, daughter of George FitzGerald, 16th Earl of Kildare and Lady Joan Boyle, on 16 February 1656.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Loftus, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Adam Loftus and Jane Vaughan, after 1681.1 He died in 1685.1 He was buried at Gilltown, County Kildare, Ireland.1 His will was probated in 1691.1
     Sir Walter Borrowes, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Borrowes, of Grangemellon, co. Kildare [I., 1646] circa 1650.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Kildare in 1673.1 He lived at Gilltown, County Kildare, Ireland.1

     Wingfield Borrowes matriculated at Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 12 September 1640.1

     Eleanor Fitzgerald was the daughter of George FitzGerald, 16th Earl of Kildare and Lady Joan Boyle.1 She married Sir Walter Borrowes, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Erasmus Borrowes, 1st Bt. and Sarah Weldon, on 16 February 1656.1 She died on 3 August 1681.1 She was buried at Gilltown, County Kildare, Ireland.1
     From 16 February 1656, her married name became Borrowes.1

     Margaret Loftus was born before 1666. She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Adam Loftus and Jane Vaughan.1 She married Sir Walter Borrowes, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Erasmus Borrowes, 1st Bt. and Sarah Weldon, after 1681.1 She died before 1698.1 Her will was probated in 1698.1
     From after 1681, her married name became Borrowes.1
