     Hans Hamilton was the son of James Hamilton.1 He married, secondly, Anne Mitchell, daughter of Hugh Henry Mitchell and Margaret Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Lynam, daughter of Joseph Lynam, in June 1787.2 He died in December 1822.2
     He lived at Sheephill, County Dublin, IrelandG.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Dragoons.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Dublin.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Dublin in 1803.2

     Major Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 9th Bt. was born on 19 December 1831 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Reverend Sir Erasmus Borrowes, 8th Bt. and Harriet Hamilton.1 He married, firstly, Frederica Eaten Hutcheson, daughter of Brig.-Gen. George Hutcheson, on 14 August 1851.1 He married, secondly, Florence Elizabeth Ruxton, daughter of William Ruxton and Caroline Diana Vernon, on 5 October 1887.1 He died in October 1898 at age 66.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Ensign in 1852 in the 80th Foot.1 He fought in the Second Burma War in 1853.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1859.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Borrowes, of Grangemellon, co. Kildare [I., 1646] on 27 May 1866.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1867 in the 13th Foot.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Kildare in 1873.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Queen's County in 1880.1 He lived at Barretstown Castle, County Kildare, IrelandG.2

George Hutcheson.1 She married Major Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 9th Bt., son of Reverend Sir Erasmus Borrowes, 8th Bt. and Harriet Hamilton, on 14 August 1851.1 She died on 17 August 1886 at Barretstown Castle, County Kildare, IrelandG.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Kildare Borrowes, 10th Bt. was born on 21 September 1852.1 He was the son of Major Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 9th Bt. and Frederica Eaten Hutcheson.1 He married Julia Aline Holden, daughter of William Holden and Julia Paulet, on 31 March 1886 at St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London, EnglandG.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 11th Hussars.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of Ireland.1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Borrowes, of Grangemellon, co. Kildare [I., 1646] in October 1898.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900, in the Imperial Yeomanry.1
