George Kinloch Sheppard was the son of Sir William Didsbury Sheppard.1 He married, firstly, Pamela Mary Burton, daughter of Burnell Lewis Earnshaw Burton and Eileen Dolores Alexander, on 7 October 1947.2 He and Pamela Mary Burton were divorced in 1951.2 He married, secondly, Rachel Russell Windham, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Steuart Windham and Marjorie Russell Dymoke, on 15 July 1963.1 He died on 23 December 1963.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Rajputana Rifles, Indian Army.1

     Brigadier Hubert Clementi-Smith was born on 12 August 1878 at Hong Kong.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Cecil Clementi-Smith and Teresa Newcomen.2 He married Kathleen Margaret Clarke-Jervoise, daughter of Sir Harry Samuel Cumming Clarke-Jervoise, 5th Bt. and Beatrice Evelyn Stopford Sackville, on 14 January 1909 at Holy Trinity, Blendworth, Hampshire, England.2,3 He died on 16 August 1958 at age 80.2
     He fought in the Boer War.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Engineers and Royal Corps of Signals.2 He was Signal Officer in Chief of the Army Headquarters, India in 1934.2
