     Garden William Duff was born on 10 June 1814.1 He was the son of Garden Duff, 8th of Hatton and Louisa Dunbar.1 He married, firstly, Douglas Isabella Maria Urquhart in June 1850.1 He married, secondly, Jean Cook on 14 October 1862.1 He died on 17 September 1886 at age 72 at Harrogate, London, England.1
     Garden William Duff lived at Hatton, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.2
