     Brian Evelyn Delves Broughton was born on 16 April 1898.1 He was the son of Sir Delves Louis Broughton, 10th Bt. and Mary Evelyn Cotton.1 He married Maud Alexandra Dickinson, daughter of H. A. Dickinson, on 27 February 1943.1 He died on 27 March 1966 at age 67, without issue.1
     Brian Evelyn Delves Broughton was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1
