     Major Victor Reginald Brooke was born on 22 January 1873.1 He was the son of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham.1 He died on 29 August 1914 at age 41, killed in action.1
     Major Victor Reginald Brooke fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 9th Lancers.1 He fought in the Kabul Mission in 1904.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.).1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1

     Alice Mildred Brooke was born on 4 March 1875.1 She was the daughter of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham.1 She married Lt.-Col. James Ramsay Campbell, son of George Ramsay Campbell and Lucy Lindsey, on 28 September 1896.1 She died on 13 November 1914 at age 39.1
     From 28 September 1896, her married name became Campbell.1

     Lt.-Col. James Ramsay Campbell was born on 23 April 1855.3 He was the son of George Ramsay Campbell and Lucy Lindsey.2 He married Alice Mildred Brooke, daughter of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham, on 28 September 1896.1 He died on 12 January 1924 at age 68, without issue.3
     Lt.-Col. James Ramsay Campbell gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Shropshire Light Infantry.3 He lived at Ardachy, Fort Augustus, Inverness-shire, Scotland.3

Hon. Frederick Stringer Wrench, on 18 May 1937.1
     From 5 July 1899, her married name became Des Voeux.1 From 18 May 1937, her married name became Wrench.1
