Lt.-Col. Sir Robert Benyon Nevill Gunter, 2nd Bt. was born on 4 August 1871.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Robert Gunter, 1st Bt. and Jane Marguerite Benyon.1 He married Clara Lydia (?) on 12 November 1902.1 He died on 20 August 1917 at age 46 at France, while on active service.1
