Fermanagh [U.K., 1945] on 19 December 1972. He succeeded to the title of 3rd Viscount Alanbrooke, of Brookeborough, co. Fermanagh [U.K., 1946] on 19 December 1972.1 He graduated from Bristol University in 1976 with the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.1

Robert Oliver Vesey Stoney, son of Robert Vesey Stoney and Marian Catherine Theffania Nugent, on 8 August 1953.1 She died on 20 November 1961 at age 30, as a result of a riding accident.1
     Her married name became Stoney.

     Lt.-Cdr. Robert Oliver Vesey Stoney was born on 16 October 1928.3 He was the son of Robert Vesey Stoney and Marian Catherine Theffania Nugent.2,3 He married, firstly, Hon. Kathleen Benita Brooke, daughter of Field Marshal Sir Alan Francis Brooke, 1st Viscount Alanbrooke and Benita Blanche Pelly, on 8 August 1953.1 He married, secondly, Monica Ann Joyce, daughter of Colonel Ralph Francis Joyce, in 1963.4 He died on 19 March 1997 at age 68.3
     Lt.-Cdr. Robert Oliver Vesey Stoney was educated in 1938 at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.4 Lieutenant-Commander.1 He lived before 1976 at Rosturk Castle, Westport, County Mayo, Ireland.1

     Robert Vesey Stoney was born on 24 September 1903.3 He was the son of Robert Vesey Stoney and Phoebe Editha Truell.2,3 He married Marian Catherine Theffania Nugent, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Oliver Stewart Wood Nugent and Catherine Lees, on 4 November 1927.3 He died on 14 May 1944 at age 40 at West Africa, on active service.3
     Robert Vesey Stoney was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.3 He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He lived at Rosturk Castle, Westport, County Mayo, Ireland.1

     Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 January 1843.3 He was the son of Sir Arthur Brinsley Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Julia Henrietta Anson.2 He married Alice Sophia Bellingham, daughter of Sir Alan Edward Bellingham, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Clarke, on 28 July 1864.1 He died on 23 November 1891 at age 48.
     Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Brooke, of Colebrooke, co. Fermanagh [U.K., 1822] on 21 November 1854.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).3
