     Amice Ivy Delves Broughton was born on 23 October 1902.1 She was the daughter of Sir Delves Louis Broughton, 10th Bt. and Mary Evelyn Cotton.1 She married Sir Frank Todd Spickernell, son of Frank Spickernell and Annie Lewns, on 5 October 1925.1 She died in 1974.2
     From 5 October 1925, her married name became Spickernell.1

     Sir Frank Todd Spickernell was born in 1885.2 He was the son of Frank Spickernell and Annie Lewns.1,2 He married Amice Ivy Delves Broughton, daughter of Sir Delves Louis Broughton, 10th Bt. and Mary Evelyn Cotton, on 5 October 1925.1 He died in 1956.2
     He gained the rank of Captain (S) in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He lived at Deane, Kintbury, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)3

     Jane Spickernell was born in 1928.2 She was the daughter of Sir Frank Todd Spickernell and Amice Ivy Delves Broughton.1 She married Sir David Akers-Jones, son of Walter George Jones and Dorothy Akers, on 8 September 1951.3 She died on 6 October 2002.1
     From 8 September 1951, her married name became Akers-Jones.1 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1988.1

     Sir David Akers-Jones was born on 14 April 1927.1 He is the son of Walter George Jones and Dorothy Akers.1 He married Jane Spickernell, daughter of Sir Frank Todd Spickernell and Amice Ivy Delves Broughton, on 8 September 1951.1
     He was given the name of David Jones at birth.1 He was educated at Worthing High School, Worthing, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was in the Malayan Civil Service between 1954 and 1957.1 He was Secretary of the New Territories, Hong Kong between 1973 and 1981.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1978.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1985.1 He was Acting Governor of Hong Kong between 1986 and 1987.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.) by Kent University, Kent, EnglandG, in 1987.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong KongG, in 1988.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Social Science (D.S.Sc.) by City University of Kong Kong, Hong KongG, in 1993.1 He was Hong Kong Affairs Advisor to China between 1993 and 1997.1 He lived in 2003 at Villa Monte Rosa, Flat 1a, 41a Stubbs Road, Hong KongG.1
