     Lt.-Col. Gerald Edward Coke was born on 25 October 1907.² He was the son of Major Hon. Sir John Spencer Coke and Hon. Dorothy Olive Lawson.^2,3 He married Patricia Cadogan, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Alexander George Montagu Cadogan and Lady Theodosia Louisa Augusta Acheson, on 2 September 1939.¹ He died in 1990.²
