     Stewart Crawford Bruce was born on 20 January 1801.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir Henry Hervey Aston Bruce, 1st Bt. and Letitia Barnard.1 He married Helen Baillie Alves, daughter of William Alves, on 6 December 1828.1 He died on 18 February 1878 at age 77.1
     Stewart Crawford Bruce held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Londonderry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Londonderry.1

     Major Stewart Hervey Bruce was born on 10 July 1834.1 He was the son of Stewart Crawford Bruce and Helen Baillie Alves. He married Frances Anna Maria Becher, daughter of H. C. R. Becher, on 19 January 1864.1 He died in 1899.1
     Major Stewart Hervey Bruce gained the rank of Major in the service of the 102nd Foot.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Londonderry.1
