     Hon. Edward Morris Erskine was born on 28 March 1817.1 He was the son of David Montagu Erskine, 2nd Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Cadwallader.1 He married Caroline Vaughan, daughter of Robert Hamilton Vaughan, on 24 July 1847.1 He died on 19 April 1883 at age 66.1
     Hon. Edward Morris Erskine was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Greece between 1864 and 1872.1 He was Minister to Stockholm between 1872 and 1881.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1
