     Albert Brassey was born on 22 February 1844.1 He was the son of Thomas Brassey and Maria Farringdon Harrison.1 He married Hon. Matilda Maria Helena Bingham, daughter of John Charles Robert Bingham, 4th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook and Sarah Selina Persse, on 12 January 1871.1 He died on 7 January 1918 at age 73.2
     Albert Brassey was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 14th Hussars.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1878.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Yeomanry.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Banbury between 1895 and 1906.1,2 He lived at Charlton Park, Gloucestershire, England.2 He lived at Heythrop Hall, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England.1
