     Anne Irvine Medlicott was born on 16 July 1914 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Canon Robert Sumner Medlicott and Ellen Douglas Irvine.2 She married, firstly, Major Hon. John Yarburgh Cunliffe-Lister, son of Philip Cunliffe-Lister, 1st Earl of Swinton and Mary Constance Boynton, on 28 May 1936 at St. Peter's Church, Easton Square, London, England.2 She married, secondly, Donald Philpott Chapple-Gill on 3 April 1944 at All Saints Church, Norfolk Square, London, England.2 She died on 28 May 1961 at age 46.1
     From 28 May 1936, her married name became Cunliffe-Lister.1 From 3 April 1944, her married name became Chapple-Gill.2
