Sir William Button, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1614.1 He was the son of Sir William Button, 1st Bt. and Ruth Dunch.1 He married Anne Rolle, daughter of Sir Henry Rolle and Anne Dennis, on 6 April 1640 at Petrockstowe, England.1 He died on 8 March 1659/60, without issue.1 He was buried at Wraxall, Wiltshire, England.1 His will (dated 6 March 1659/60) was probated in February 1661.1
Sir William Button, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Button, of Alton, co. Wilts. [E., 1622] on 16 January 1654/55.1

Anne Rolle was the daughter of Sir Henry Rolle and Anne Dennis.1 She married Sir William Button, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Button, 1st Bt. and Ruth Dunch, on 6 April 1640 at Petrockstowe, England.1 She died on 4 February 1665.1 She was buried at Wraxall, Wiltshire, England.1

Sir Robert Button, 3rd Bt. matriculated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 24 May 1639.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Button, of Alton, co. Wilts. [E., 1622] on 8 March 1659/60.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire from 1670 to 1671.1
