Lt.-Col. Donald Cuthbertson Dennistoun Sword was the son of Alexander Bruce Dennistoun Sword.2 He married Eileen Edith Caledon Alexander, daughter of Sir William Ferdinand Alexander, 5th Bt. and Edith La Fargue, on 8 December 1908.1 He and Eileen Edith Caledon Alexander were divorced in 1918.1 He died on 11 May 1954.1
