George Pickersgill Cable was born on 5 December 1891.1 He was the son of Sir Ernest Cable, 1st and last Baron Cable and Lilian Sarah Sparkes.1 He died on 9 May 1915 at age 23 at Fromelles, France, killed in action.1

Major Sir Lionel Cecil William Alexander, 6th Bt. was born on 23 September 1885.1 He is the son of Sir William Ferdinand Alexander, 5th Bt. and Edith La Fargue.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Noorouz Weston Cable, daughter of Sir Ernest Cable, 1st and last Baron Cable and Lilian Sarah Sparkes, on 15 December 1908.3 He and Hon. Noorouz Weston Cable were divorced in 1924.1 He married, secondly, Hopeful Merrison Rose Hurrell, daughter of Captain George William Hurrell, on 17 July 1924.1 He died on 6 August 1956 at age 70.1
