     From 27 November 1884, her married name became Alexander. From 1897, her married name became Thurlow.1

     Sir Desmond William Lionel Cable-Alexander, 7th Bt. was born on 4 October 1910.1 He was the son of Major Sir Lionel Cecil William Alexander, 6th Bt. and Hon. Noorouz Weston Cable.2 He married, firstly, Mary Jane O'Brien, daughter of James O'Brien, on 20 June 1935.1 He and Mary Jane O'Brien were divorced in 1941.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Mabel Burnett, daughter of John Burnett, in 1941.1 He died in 1988.1
     Sir Desmond William Lionel Cable-Alexander, 7th Bt. was baptised with the name of Desmond William Lionel Alexander.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 On 30 October 1931 his name was legally changed to Desmond William Lionel Cable-Alexander by Deed Poll.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Alexander, of Belcamp, co. Dublin [U.K., 1809] on 6 August 1956.1
