     As a result of her marriage, unknown daughter FitzGerald was styled as Baroness Caher. Her married name became Butler.1

     Ellice Fitzgerald was the daughter of Sir John Fitzgerald.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Butler, 2nd Baron Caher, son of Theobald Butler, 1st Baron Caher and Mary Cusack, after 1601.1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Esmonde, 1st Bt., son of Laurence Esmond, 1st and last Lord Esmond, Baron of Lymbrick and unknown O'Flaherty, circa 19 March 1629 in a unlicenced marriage.2 She died on 16 January 1644/45.1 She was buried at Ardcavan, County Wexford, Ireland.3
     As a result of her marriage, Ellice Fitzgerald was styled as Baroness Caher after 1601. From after 1601, her married name became Butler.1 From circa 19 March 1629, her married name became Esmonde. On 19 March 1629 she was pardoned for marrying without a licence.1
