     Lady Ellen Butler was the daughter of Walter Butler, 11th Earl of Ormonde and Hon. Helen Butler.1 She married Sir Pierce Butler, 1st Viscount of Ikerrin, son of Sir James 'Oge' Butler and Ellis Butler.2 She died after 16 June 1663.1
     Her married name became Butler. As a result of her marriage, Lady Ellen Butler was styled as Viscountess Ikerrin on 12 May 1629.

     Margaret Butler was born circa 1606.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Butler, 2nd Baron Caher and Ellice Fitzgerald.1,2 She married Edmund Butler, 3rd/13th Baron Dunboyne, son of Hon. John Butler and Joan FitzPatrick, before 1627. She died in 1632 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
     From before 1627, her married name became Butler.

     Thomas Butler, 2nd Baron Caher was born circa 1568.1 He was the son of Sir Theobald Butler, 1st Baron Caher and Mary Cusack.1 He married, firstly, Eleanor Butler, daughter of Richard Butler, 1st Viscount Mountgarret and Eleanor Butler, before October 1598.1 He married, secondly, Ellice Fitzgerald, daughter of Sir John Fitzgerald, after 1601.1 He died on 31 January 1626/27, without male issue.1
     Thomas Butler, 2nd Baron Caher succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Caher [I., 1583] on 28 April 1596.1 In 1599 Caher Castle was captured by the Ear of Essex, and Thomas held prisoner, although his wife and brother refused to give it up.1 In 1599 he joined in Tyrone's rebellion, but then surrendered, and was attainted.1 On 27 May 1601 he was pardoned for all treason and crimes.1

     Margaret FitzPatrick is the daughter of Barnaby FitzPatrick, 2nd Baron Upper Ossory and Joan Eustace.1 She married James Butler, 2nd/12th Baron Dunboyne, son of Sir Edmund Butler, 1st/11th Baron Dunboyne and Julia MacCarthy, circa 1580.2
     As a result of her marriage, Margaret FitzPatrick was styled as Baroness Dunboyne circa 1580. From circa 1580, her married name became Butler.1
