John Campbell of Airds was born on 27 November 1807.1 He was the son of John Campbell of Airds and Margaret Maxwell Campbell.1 He married Hannah Elizabeth Macleod, daughter of James Macleod of Rasay, on 21 November 1833.1 He died on 18 January 1853 at age 45 at Kingstown, St. Vincents.1 His will was probated in August 1855.1
