     Duncan Campbell of Barcaldine and Glenure was born circa 1716.1 He was the son of Patrick Campbell, 3rd of Barcaldine and Lucy Cameron.2 He married Mary Macpherson, daughter of Alexander Macpherson, in 1744.1 He died on 14 November 1784.1
     Duncan Campbell of Barcaldine and Glenure was Sheriff Substitute for Perthshire at Killin.1

     Mary Macpherson is the daughter of Alexander Macpherson.2 She married Duncan Campbell of Barcaldine and Glenure, son of Patrick Campbell, 3rd of Barcaldine and Lucy Cameron, in 1744.1
     From 1744, her married name became Campbell.1

     Alexander Campbell of Barcaldine and Glenure was born on 30 April 1745.3 He is the son of Duncan Campbell of Barcaldine and Glenure and Mary Macpherson.2 He married Mary Campbell, daughter of John Campbell, on 22 September 1785.3 He died on 17 March 1800 at age 54.3
     Alexander Campbell of Barcaldine and Glenure was a practising Advocate.3

     Major Patrick Campbell was the son of Duncan Campbell of Barcaldine and Glenure and Mary Macpherson.2 He married Sarah Pearsall, daughter of Thomas Pearsall, on 1 January 1781.1 He died in September 1782.1
     Major Patrick Campbell gained the rank of Major in the service of the 71st (Fraser’s) Highlanders.1
