     Major Archibald Campbell was the son of Patrick Campbell, 3rd of Barcaldine and Lucy Cameron.2 He died in 1755.1
     Major Archibald Campbell gained the rank of Major in the service of the 43rd Regiment.1

     General Allan Campbell was the son of Patrick Campbell, 3rd of Barcaldine and Lucy Cameron.2 He died on 13 November 1794.1
     General Allan Campbell fought in the Battle of Prestonpans, where he was captured.1 He gained the rank of Subaltern in the service of the Black Watch.1 He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in the service of the 36th Foot.1 He gained the rank of General.1
