     Alexander 'Dubh' Macdougall, 23rd of Dunollie and of Lorn is the son of John Macdougall, 22nd of Dunollie and of Lorn and Mary MacDonald.2 He married Mary Campbell, daughter of Patrick Campbell, 3rd of Barcaldine and Lucy Cameron, in 1737.1 He died in 1801.1
      In 1746 built a new house at Dunollie.1
