     Robert Durning Holt was born on 11 October 1832 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1 He was the son of George Holt and Emma Durning.1 He married Lawrencina Potter, daughter of Richard Potter and Lawrencina Heyworth, on 19 June 1867.1 He died in December 1908 at age 76 at Toxteth Park, Lancashire, England.1
