     Charles Evelyn Pierrepont, Viscount Newark was born on 2 September 1805 at Holme Pierrepont, Nottinghamshire, England.1 He was the son of Charles Herbert Pierrepont, 2nd Earl Manvers and Mary Letitia Eyre.1 He married Hon. Emily Littleton, daughter of Edward John Littleton, 1st Baron Hatherton and Hyacinthe Mary Wellesley, on 16 August 1832.2 He died on 23 August 1850 at age 44 at Torquay, Devon, England.1
     He was styled as Viscount Newark between 1816 and 1850.
