     Charles Herbert Pierrepont, 2nd Earl Manvers was born on 11 August 1778.1 He was the son of Charles Pierrepont, 1st Earl Manvers and Anne Orton Mills.1 He married Mary Letitia Eyre, daughter of Anthony Hardolph Eyre and Frances Alicia Wilbraham-Bootle, on 23 August 1804 at Grove, Nottinghamshire, England.1 He died on 27 October 1860 at age 82.1
     Charles Herbert Pierrepont, 2nd Earl Manvers succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Newark of Newark-on-Trent, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1796] on 17 June 1816.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepont, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1796] on 17 June 1816.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl Manvers [U.K., 1806] on 17 June 1816.1

     Captain Herbert Reginald Montgomery Hawkins was born on 5 February 1869.2 He was the son of James Staples Hawkins and Letitia Georgiana Brooke.2 He married, firstly, Hilda Nugent Bankes, daughter of Henry Hyde Nugent Bankes and Ellen Catherine Massy, on 22 September 1894.2 He died on 12 January 1946 at age 76.2
     Captain Herbert Reginald Montgomery Hawkins lived at Holme Lodge, Charminster, Dorset, England.3 He lived at St. Fenton's, County Dublin, Ireland.1
