     Margaret Power was the daughter of John Power, 3rd Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Ellen MacCartie.1 She married James FitzThomas FitzGerald, son of Sir Thomas FitzJames FitzGerald, in 1585.2 She died at Tower of London, The City, London, England, without issue.2
      From 1585, her married name became FitzGerald.2 On his death, his vast estates in counties Cork and Kerry were parcelled out amongst 'undertakers' from England.2

     Lady Katherine Butler was the daughter of Piers Butler, 8th Earl of Ormonde and Lady Margaret FitzGerald.1 She married, firstly, Richard Power, 1st Baron le Power and Coroghmore, son of Sir Piers Power and Katherine FitzGerald, before 1526. She married, secondly, James FitzJohn FitzGerald, 13th Earl of Desmond, son of Sir John of Desmond, in February 1549/50.1 She died on 17 March 1552/53.1
      From before 1526, her married name became Power.1 From February 1549/50, her married name became FitzGerald.1

     Piers Power, 2nd Baron le Power and Coroghmore was born in 1526.1 He was the son of Richard Power, 1st Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Lady Katherine Butler.1 He died on 16 October 1545 at Boulogne, France, from wounds received in action.1
     He was also known as Piers Poer.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron le Power and Coroghmore, co. Waterford [I., 1535] on 10 November 1538.1 He was Captain-General of the a force of Irish kernes raised for the French war.2 He fought in the Siege of Boulogne in September 1544.2 He was invested as a Knight on 30 September 1544 after the capture of Boulogne.1
