     Rt. Hon. Sir Richard Horner Paget, 1st Bt. was born on 14 March 1832 at Cranmore Hall, Somerset, England.2,3 He was the son of John Moore Paget and Elizabeth Jane Doveton.2 He married Caroline Isabel Surtees, daughter of Henry Edward Surtees and Elizabeth (?), on 13 November 1866.3 He died on 3 February 1908 at age 75 at East Cranmore, Somerset, England.2,3
     He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 66th Regiment.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the service of the Third Battalion Somerset Volunteers.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Somerset between 1865 and 1868.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for mid-Somerset between 1868 and 1885.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wells between 1885 and 1895.3 He was created 1st Baronet Paget, of Cranmore Hall, co. Somerset [U.K.] on 6 March 1886.4 He held the office of Justice of Peace (J.P.).3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).3 He held the office of Chairman of the Somerset County Council (C.C.).3 He held the office of Chairman of the Somerset Quarter Sessions (Q.S.).3 He held the office of Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1895.3 He lived at Cranmore Hall, Somerset, England.3

     Caroline Isabel Surtees was born in 1848 at Little Munden, Hertfordshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Henry Edward Surtees and Elizabeth (?).2 She married Rt. Hon. Sir Richard Horner Paget, 1st Bt., son of John Moore Paget and Elizabeth Jane Doveton, on 13 November 1866.3 She died on 29 July 1946.3
      From 13 November 1866, her married name became Paget.3

Joseph Constable-Maxwell-Scott and Mary Monica Hope-Scott.1 He married Fearga Victoria Mary O'Conor-Don, daughter of Nicholas Robert O'Conor-Don and Minna Margaret Hope-Scott, on 6 September 1918.1 He died on 23 February 1943 at age 59.1
     He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V.1 He was decorated with the award of the Croix de Guerre.1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the service of the Royal Navy.1

Joseph Constable-Maxwell-Scott and Mary Monica Hope-Scott, on 6 September 1918.2 She died on 22 March 1969.2
      From 6 September 1918, her married name became Constable-Maxwell-Scott.2
