Sir Albert Charles Gladstone of Fasque and Balfour, 5th Bt. was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Flintshire.1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1909 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 2nd/5th Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army Reserve.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1921 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of the County of London in 1929.1 He held the office of Constable of Flint Castle between 1935 and 1967.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Gladstone, of Fasque and Balfour, co.
