     Hilda Stevenson was the daughter of James Cochran Stevenson.3 She married Walter Runciman, 1st Viscount Runciman of Doxford, son of Sir Walter Runciman and Ann Margaret Lawson, on 23 August 1898.1 She died on 28 October 1956.1
     She was Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 She lived Westoe.1 From 23 August 1898, her married name became Runciman.1 She was Member of Parliament (M.P.) St Ives (Cornwall) in 1928.1 She was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) County London and Northumberland (d ) on 28 October 1956.1 In 2004 S Shields (see BLGY STEVENSON of Bolton Old Hall formerly of Westoe).1

     Sir Albert Charles Gladstone of Fasque and Balfour, 5th Bt. was born on 28 October 1886.1 He was the son of Reverend Stephen Edward Gladstone and Annie Crosthwaite Wilson.2 He died on 2 March 1967 at age 80, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Flintshire.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1909 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 2nd/5th Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army Reserve.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1921 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of the County of London in 1929.1 He held the office of Constable of Flint Castle between 1935 and 1967.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Gladstone, of Fasque and Balfour, co. Kincardine [U.K., 1846] on 12 February 1945.1

     Charles Andrew Gladstone of Fasque and Balfour was born on 28 October 1888.1 He was the son of Reverend Stephen Edward Gladstone and Annie Crosthwaite Wilson.2 He married Isla Margaret Crum, daughter of Sir Walter Erskine Crum, on 3 January 1925.1 He died on 28 April 1968 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1911 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was a master between 1912 and 1946 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he attached to the Royal Flying Corps, and became a POW.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire between 1948 and 1968.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Flintshire.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1951.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Gladstone, of Fasque and Balfour, co. Kincardine [U.K., 1846] on 2 March 1967.1 He proved his claim to the baronetcy but did not use the title.1
