     Brigadier Ambrose Cave was the son of Sir Thomas Cave, 1st Bt. and Penelope Wenman.2 He died in 1690 at Greenwich, London, England, killed by one Biron, an officer who bore a long-standing grudge against him and ran a sword through Ambrose's back as he sat in a banqueting hall—Biron was never caught.1
     Brigadier Ambrose Cave gained the rank of Brigadier in the service of the Life Guards.1

     Lady Janet Hamilton is the daughter of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Arran.2 She married Alexander Cuninghame, 5th Earl of Glencairn, son of William Cuninghame, 4th Earl of Glencairn and Catherine Borthwick, on 26 November 1526.1 She and Alexander Cuninghame, 5th Earl of Glencairn were divorced in 1545.3
     Lady Janet Hamilton was also known as Joan. From 26 November 1526, her married name became Cuninghame.

     William Chetwynd was the son of Thomas Chetwynd.2 He married Alice Egerton, daughter of Hugh Egerton.1 He died at Tirell Heath, Staffordshire, England, murdered at the instigation of Sir Humphrey Stafford, having been inveigled there early in the morning by a forged letter.1
     William Chetwynd lived at Ingestre, Staffordshire, England.1 He held the office of Gentleman-Usher of the Chamber to King Henry VII.1 He lived at Alspath, England.1

     Martha Browne was born circa 1655.3 She was the daughter of John Browne and Elizabeth Packer.2,3 She married Sir Roger Cave, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Cave, 1st Bt. and Penelope Wenman, on 24 February 1675/76.1 She died before 1691.3
     From 24 February 1675/76, her married name became Cave.
