     Sir Thomas Brian Weldon, 8th Bt. was born on 19 May 1905.2 He was the son of Sir Anthony Arthur Weldon, 6th Bt. and Winifred Varty-Rogers.2 He married Marie Isobel French, daughter of Hon. William Joseph French and Victoria Louise Bellasis, on 21 July 1942.3 He died on 5 August 1979 at age 74.2
     He was also known as Captain Sir Thomas Brian Weldon.3 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Burdett, of Dunmore, co. Carlow [I., 1723] on 9 January 1971.2
