     Sir Thomas Brian Weldon, 8th Bt. was born on 19 May 1905.2 He was the son of Sir Anthony Arthur Weldon, 6th Bt. and Winifred Varty-Rogers.2 He married Marie Isobel French, daughter of Hon. William Joseph French and Victoria Louise Bellasis, on 21 July 1942.3 He died on 5 August 1979 at age 74.2
     Sir Thomas Brian Weldon, 8th Bt. was also known as Captain Sir Thomas Brian Weldon.3 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Burdett, of Dunmore, co. Carlow [I., 1723] on 9 January 1971.2
