     Elizabeth Charlton was born before 1770. She was the daughter of Francis Charlton.1 She married Sir Matthew Montagu, 4th Baron Rokeby, son of Morris Robinson and Jane Greenland, on 9 July 1785.1 She died on 7 March 1817.
     From 9 July 1785, her married name became Montagu.1
