Isobel Lindsay was the daughter of Sir David Lindsay, 8th Earl of Crawford and Isobel Lundy.1,2 She married, firstly, John Borthwick, 5th Lord Borthwick, son of William Borthwick, 4th Lord Borthwick and Margaret Hay, before 1544.1 She married, secondly, George Preston after 1566.1 She died on 15 November 1577.1 Her will (dated 10 November 1577) was probated on 27 April 1580 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1
