     Captain Harry Francis Cayley was born on 4 July 1873.1 He was the son of Digby Cayley and Charlotte Philadelphia Bower.2 He married Margery Freake, daughter of Sir Thomas George Freake, 2nd Bt., on 19 April 1900.1 He died on 31 March 1954 at age 80.1
     Captain Harry Francis Cayley fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was decorated with the Companion of the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) (and bar (1919)) in 1917.1
