     Digby Cayley was born on 7 June 1834.2 He was the son of Sir Digby Cayley, 7th Bt. and Dorothy Allanson.1,2 He married Charlotte Philadelphia Bower, daughter of Robert Bower, on 15 November 1859.2 He died on 26 June 1912 at age 78.2
