     George Paul Cayley was born on 23 May 1940.1 He is the son of Paul Charles Cuthbert Cayley and Cassandra Rosamond Elaine Legard.2 He married Shirley Southwell Petford, daughter of Frank Woodward Petford, in 1967.1
     George Paul Cayley was educated at Felsted School, Essex, England.1 He lived in 2003 at Applegarth, Brewers Green, Roydon, Diss, Norfolk, England.1
