     Eleanor Phoebe Chance was the daughter of Sir James Timmins Chance, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Ferguson.2 She married Reverend William Campbell Riland-Bedford, son of Reverend William Kirkpatrick Riland-Bedford, on 5 December 1877.1 She died on 15 September 1928.1
     From 5 December 1877, her married name became Riland-Bedford.1

     Anthony Ferguson Chance was born on 20 July 1923.1 He was the son of Sir Roger James Ferguson Chance, 3rd Bt. and Mary Georgina Rowney.2 He died on 17 January 1970 at age 46, unmarried.1
     Anthony Ferguson Chance was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the The Rifle Brigade.1
