Anne Wells was the daughter of John Wells.1 She married, secondly, Henry Brydges, 2nd Duke of Chandos, son of James Brydges, 1st Duke of Chandos and Mary Lake, on 25 December 1744 at Mr. Keith's Chapel, Mayfair, London, England.1 She died on 9 August 1759 at Keynsham Abbey, Somerset, England, without male issue.2,3 She was buried on 30 August 1759 at Whitchurch, London, England.2
Her married name became Jeffries.1 As a result of her marriage, Anne Wells was styled as Duchess of Chandos on 25 December 1744. From 25 December 1744, her married name became Brydges.1
