Martha Parker-à-Morley-Long was born on 23 March 1715/16.2 She was the daughter of Sir Philip Parker-à-Morley-Long, Bt. and Martha East.1 She was baptised on 11 April 1716 at St. Anne's Church, Soho, London, England.1 She married John Thynne Howe, 2nd Lord Chedworth, Baron of Chedworth, son of John Howe, 1st Lord Chedworth, Baron of Chedworth and Dorothy Thynne, on 23 September 1751 at Somerset House Chapel, The Strand, London, England, with a fortune of £40,000.1 She died on 30 November 1775 at age 59 at Leicester Fields, London, England.1 She was buried at Erwarton, Suffolk, England.1 Her will (dated 23 September 1775) was probated on 11 December 1775.2
From 23 September 1751, her married name became Howe.1 As a result of her marriage, Martha Parker-à-Morley-Long was styled as Baroness Chedworth on 23 September 1751.

Philip Chetwode was born on 16 May 1805.1 He was the son of Sir John Chetwode, 4th Bt. and Lady Henrietta Grey.2 He married Joanna Alleyn, daughter of J. G. Alleyn, on 10 August 1836.1 He died on 15 September 1843 at age 38.1
