Sir John Chetwode, 4th Bt. was born on 11 May 1764.3 He was the son of Sir John Chetwode, 3rd Bt. and Dorothy Bretland.2 He was baptised at Stockport, Cheshire, England.4 He married, firstly, Lady Henrietta Grey, daughter of George Harry Grey, 5th Earl of Stamford and Lady Henrietta Cavendish-Bentinck, on 26 October 1785 at Dunham Massey, Cheshire, England.4 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Bristow, daughter of John Bristow, on 16 May 1827 at Hammersmith, London, England.4 He died on 17 December 1845 at age 81 at Bognor Regis, Sussex, England.4 He was buried at Mucklestone, Staffordshire, England.4 His will was probated in February 1846.4
Sir John Chetwode, 4th Bt. gained the title of 4th Baronet Chetwode, of Oakley, co.
