Sir Thomas Fletcher Fenton Boughey, 3rd Bt. was born on 22 January 1809 at Betley Court, Staffordshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode.1 He married Louisa Paulina Giffard, daughter of Thomas Giffard, 23rd of Chillington and Charlotte Courtenay, on 27 December 1832.1 He died on 6 October 1880 at age 71 at Aqualate Mere, Staffordshire, England.1
Sir Thomas Fletcher Fenton Boughey, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Fletcher, of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Betley Court, co. Stafford [G.B., 1798] on 27 June 1823.1 He matriculated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 19 April 1826.1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1829 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Staffordshire from 1832 to 1833.1
